Servers.PNG

"This machine is a Server. PLEASE DO NOT POWER IT DOWN!!"

In computing, a server is a computer program or a device that provides functionality for other programs or devices, called "clients". This architecture is called the client–server model, and a single overall computation is distributed across multiple processes or devices.

Our servers can provide various functionalities in your business, often called "services", such as sharing data or resources among multiple "clients", or performing computation for a "client". A single server can serve multiple "clients", and a single "client" can use multiple servers. A "client process may run on the same device or may connect over a network to a server on a different device. Typical servers are database servers, file servers, mail servers, print servers, web servers, game servers, and application servers.

Another important server to mention for your business is a Domain Controller which is a server on a Microsoft Windows network which is responsible for allowing "host" access to Windows Domain resources. A good example is when you log onto your Windows Workstation or "host" with your username and password.

Networks.PNG

"This device is a Router/Switch/Firewall/Wireless Access Point. PLEASE DO NOT POWER IT DOWN!!"

A computer network, or data network, is a digital telecommunications network which allows nodes to share resources. In computer networks, computing devices exchange data with each other using connections (data links) between nodes.

The three most common networks are Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and Branch Networks. These days Networks and Devices are connected to each other by means of Wires/Cables, Wireless Devices or Access Points and Fibre Optic.

Hardware and Software.PNG

Only the best for your business

Computer hardware are the physical parts or components of a computer, such as the central processing unit, monitor, keyboard, computer data storage, graphic card, sound card and motherboard. I.o.w, what makes up the computer.

By contrast, software is instructions that can be stored and ran by hardware. I.o.w, what gets installed onto the storage device of the computer.

Cyber-security, computer security or IT security is the protection of your computer systems from theft of or damage to their hardware, software or electronic data, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide.

In computing, a firewall is a network security system that monitors and controls incoming and outgoing network traffic in your business based on predetermined security or policy rules. A firewall typically establishes a barrier between a trusted internal network such as your business' network and an untrusted external network, such as the Internet.

Internet Connectivity and Access.PNG

Fast, Affordable and Reliable

Internet Connectivity and Access are the ability of individuals and organizations to connect to the Internet using computer terminals, computers, and other devices such as routers and firewalls; and to access services such as email and the World Wide Web. In other words, your personal data courier or carrier for your business.

Want to connect your branch offices together over the Internet, no problem, because we will have your best interest in mind.

Cloud Computing.PNG

High Availability

Cloud Computing Services provide information technology (IT) as a service over the Internet or dedicated network for your business, with delivery on demand, and most importantly, payment based on usage.

Cloud computing services range from full applications and development platforms, to servers, storage, and virtual desktops for your business, including email and on-premise Microsoft software like the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Projects.

Implement_Backup_and_Recovery_Plan.PNG

Protecting your most important Equity: Your DATA

Backup and recovery procedures protect your data against data loss and successfully restoring your business' data, should loss occur.

The restoring of your data is achieved through media recovery, whether it is on-premise, off-premise or in the Cloud, which refers to the various operations involved in restoring, rolling forward, and rolling back a backup of your business' data files and databases.

Managed Services.PNG

Offloading your IT Operations onto us

Managed services is the practice of outsourcing on a proactive basis certain processes and functions intended to improve operations and cut expenses on IT within your business which means that it is an alternative to the break/fix or on-demand outsourcing model where we perform on-demand services and bill your business only for the work done. In other words, a managed service with "Pay-As-You-Go".

Adopting our managed services for your business is intended to be an efficient way to stay up-to-date on technology, have access to skills and address issues related to cost, quality of service and risk.

As the IT infrastructure components of many SMB and large corporations are migrating to the cloud, with MSPs (managed services providers) increasingly facing the challenge of cloud computing, a number of MSPs are providing in-house cloud services or acting as brokers with cloud services providers. A recent survey claims that a lack of knowledge and expertise in cloud computing rather than offerors' reluctance, appears to be the main obstacle to this transition.

Service Level Agreement.PNG

Building, keeping and valuing the relationship

A service-level agreement (SLA) is a commitment between Electronic-Mail Solutions and you, the valued customer. Particular aspects of the service – quality, availability, responsibilities – are agreed between Electronic-Mail Solutions and you, the valued customer. The most common component of a SLA is that our services should be provided to you, the valued customer as agreed upon in the contract.

As an example, Internet service providers and telcos will commonly include service level agreements within the terms of their contracts with customers to define the level(s) of service being sold in plain language terms. In this case the SLA will typically have a technical definition in mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair or mean time to recovery (MTTR); identifying which party is responsible for reporting faults or paying fees; responsibility for various data rates; throughput; jitter; or similar measurable details.

Domain Registration.PNG

Your Unique Identity: To show up and stand out

Domain registration is the process of registering a unique domain name for your business, which identifies one or more IP addresses with a name that is easier to remember and use in URLs to identify particular Web pages. In other words, what it means to you is that direct, keyword-rich names make it easier for customers to find your business.

The person or business that registers a domain name is called the domain name registrant, in our case, GoDaddy. Also, it is the act of reserving a name on the Internet for a certain period, usually one year. ... Domain name registration for your business is necessary for a website, an email or another web service.

Virtualization.PNG

Saving you money on your Hardware and Software Infrastructure

Virtualization refers to the creation of a virtual resource such as a server, desktop, operating system, file, storage, backup storage or network for your business by Electronic-Mail Solutions.

The main goal of virtualization is to manage your workloads by radically transforming traditional computing to make it more scalable.

Virtualization has been a part of the IT landscape for decades now, and today it can be applied to a wide range of system layers, including operating system-level virtualization, hardware-level virtualization and server virtualization. Types of Virtualization: Server, Network, Storage and Desktop Virtualization.

Anti-malware.PNG

Clean, Quarantine or Destroy

Anti-malware software protects your business against infections caused by many types of malware, including all types of viruses, as well as rootkits, ransomware and spyware.

Anti-malware software can be installed on an individual computing device (un-managed), gateway server or dedicated network appliance (managed).

As none of the anti-malware software products are 100% full proof, implementing a data backup and recovery plan for your business is imperative and must undergo regular testing by Electronic-Mail Solutions.

Hardware and Software Inventory Manageme

Centralise, Track and Safe Money

It is important for your business—large or small—to track and manage the hardware devices and software installations in your IT infrastructure.

Businesses have to perform hardware and software inventory audits on a regular basis to keep track of all their computer assets and other hardware and software devices on their network.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).JPG

Provides Power Protection to your Critical Hardware and Software

An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is used in your business to protect critical loads from mains supply problems, including spikes, voltage dips, fluctuations and complete power failures. This is achieved by using a dedicated battery, in other words, it's a device that allows your computer/server/network to keep running for at least a short time when the primary power source is lost. A UPS system can also be used on your premises to 'bridge the gap' whilst a standby generator is started and synchronised, although, these UPSs must be generator friendly as not all of them are.

Using high quality uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment in your businesss can help protect your hardware against damage from unexpected power failures or unclean power. UPS devices provide power backup to your system, ensuring that there is no interruption between your computer system and the main power supply. It also provides protection from power surges.

HDD vs SSD.JPG

Solid State Drives (SSD)

SSD: The Smart choice for your NEW or Current PC

SSDs are much much FASTER.

SSDs are the ultimate way to "feel" the difference in your everyday computing performance!

SSDs can have 100 times greater performance, almost instantaneous data access, quicker boot ups, faster file transfers, and an overall snappier computing experience than hard drives. HDDs can only access the data faster the closer it is from the read write heads, while all parts of the SSD can be accessed at once.

Experience higher computing performance than ever before. SSD is much faster than a standard HDD and also offers unmatched reliability for your business.
